Who We Are
TOUCH Foundation for Community Health was created to address the growing need for practical, community-based health education that helps individuals and families make better decisions about their health and well-being. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing emotional wellness, prevention, and culturally responsive health education for individuals, families, and communities. We believe that health extends beyond physical care—it includes how we understand our emotions, respond to life experiences, and build meaningful connections with others. Through community-based programming and education, we equip individuals and families with practical tools to support long-term well-being.
MISSION AND VISION
Our Mission
To provide culturally responsive health education and emotional wellness programming that empowers individuals and families to build healthier, more connected lives.
Our Vision
We envision communities where individuals are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to navigate their emotions, strengthen relationships, and make informed health decisions that promote lifelong wellness.
Why We Exist
Through years of experience in healthcare and community engagement, we recognized that many individuals struggle not because they lack care, but because they lack the tools, understanding, and support needed to navigate their emotions, behaviors, and health choices. We believe that early intervention is critical—but meaningful change can happen at any stage of life.
Our Approach
At TOUCH, our work is grounded in prevention, emotional awareness, and real-life application. We deliver programs that go beyond information—helping participants understand their emotions, develop healthy responses, and apply what they learn in everyday situations. Through storytelling, guided reflection, and interactive learning, we make health education practical, relatable, and impactful. We prioritize family-centered and community-based learning environments, ensuring our programs reflect the lived experiences, cultures, and needs of the communities we serve.
Who We Serve
We serve individuals and families across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, parents, and community members. Our programs are designed to support early intervention while also providing tools and strategies that individuals can apply at any stage of life. We work with diverse communities to promote emotional awareness, healthy decision-making, and overall well-being.
